All bikes receive a complete tune up consisting of the following:
- Inflate tires to proper pressure and addressing any issues with tires or tubes including valve stem dust caps
- Check wheel trueness and making any adjustments
- Check wheel bearings and crank bearings looking for side to side play
- Check chain. Lubricate and clean as necessary
- Check brake action and adjust as needed
- Shift through all gears and adjust as needed. Lubricate cable as needed.
- Make sure seat and handle bar grips are clean and not ripped. Replace as needed.
- Check kickstand action and adjust as needed
- Make sure all nuts, especially axle nuts, are tight
- Check headset bearings
- Clean and polish bike
- Test ride the bike checking for brakes, gear shifting, leaning through corners both way.
- Look, feel and listen for anything that isn’t smooth and quiet. Are tires still hard?
